Costumes - 80s

We first used a Pinterest page to bring together inspirations and references for the 80s era style.

For the girl, we have decided to reference Allison Reynolds from The Breakfast Club, who we also based the girl's make-up on (shown on the left). As shown on the right, her costume is oversized shirts and jumpers, with a long skirt and converse.

For the boy, we decided to reference Rick Astley, from the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up, which was released in 1987. This is a denim shirt and denim trousers, with the shirt tucked in. We decided this costume as the clothes were easier to source, and this song is a clear reference for our target audience. To the right is our costume.
